Editor, Director

I'm a freelance editor based in Amsterdam, working with clients across Amsterdam and beyond. With years of experience in directing and editing, I help transform projects into visually striking and emotionally engaging video productions from documentaries and fiction to trailers, portraits, and online content.
I grew up in a family of photographers. Both my father and grandfather were, and still are, photographers. From an early age, I was surrounded by cameras, discussions about light and composition, and the art of capturing moments. I witnessed firsthand the transition from analog to digital photography. This background shaped my visual eye and forms the foundation of my work in video.
From the very beginning, my focus has been on moving images. Telling stories through picture and sound is my greatest passion and driving force. I believe in the power of audiovisual productions that not only inform or entertain, but also evoke emotion and leave a lasting impression.
My career began in 2014 within the music and hip-hop scene, where I initially created music videos entirely on my own, from concept and direction to camera work and editing. I traveled across the Netherlands, working with artists on hundreds of video productions. My motivation has always been to give space to different voices and perspectives, regardless of background. I became known as the first female "street clip maker" in the Netherlands, a pioneering role in a mostly male and closed field.
In 2016, I created a short film for the Da Bounce Urban Film Festival about a young man in difficult circumstances who finds peace and happiness through music. This project reinforced my focus on human, authentic storytelling.
In 2017, I won the BNNVARA Academy as a camjo. I started at 101TV and moved on to 101Barz, becoming the first Academy participant there. This period gave me valuable experience within a major media platform and taught me how to work professionally without losing focus on content and story.
Since 2019, I have fully specialized in directing and editing, with a strong focus on the edit. I work as a content-focused editor on a wide range of video productions: documentary editing, fiction, trailers, portraits, and online content. My role goes beyond editing alone. I actively contribute to concept development, structure, pacing, and emotional impact, helping to clarify, deepen, and strengthen stories.
Throughout my career, I have worked on numerous sets and large-scale productions, which strengthened my technical skills and taught me the importance of collaboration, trust, and hard work. I strongly believe in the power of backs against each other: with the right team, the most impactful stories are created, while never forgetting to have fun in the process.
